PSER portal login is how you get back into your account after you have registered. This guide explains the difference between register and login, how to sign in, how to do a PSER password reset, and what to do when the portal is not working.
Many people mix up “register” and “login.” Getting this clear will save you time and stop you trying to log in to an account you have not created yet.
Register vs login: the difference
- Register is a one-time step. You create your account and enter your household details. You do this on the official registration portal, pser.punjab.gov.pk. See our registration guide for the full steps.
- Login is how you return to your account afterwards. You sign in at the login portal, portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk, to check your status or continue.
In short: you register once, then you log in whenever you need to.
What you need to log in
Before you start your PSER portal login, have these ready:
- Your CNIC number, used as your username
- Your password from registration
- Access to your registered email, in case you need to reset the password
If you have any of these missing, the sections below explain how to recover them.
How to do PSER portal login, step by step
- Go to the login portal at portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk.
- Enter your CNIC as the username.
- Enter your password.
- Click sign in.
For your privacy, you need both your CNIC and your password. Your CNIC alone will not log you in. Once inside, you can do a registration check by CNIC to see your application status.
How to do a PSER password reset
If your password is not working:
- On the login page, click Forgot Password.
- The portal sends a reset link to the email you used when you registered.
- Open the link and set a new password.
- Return to the login page and sign in with your CNIC and new password.
If you no longer have access to that email, the reset link will not reach you. In that case, visit a registration center or E-Khidmat Markaz and ask the staff for help.
PSER portal not working? Fixes that help
The portal can get very busy, especially when a new phase opens. If it is slow or will not load, try these in order:
- Try off-peak hours. Early morning or late at night usually has fewer users.
- Check your internet and refresh the page.
- Clear the page or try another browser if it loads only partly.
- Wait and retry if the site is under heavy traffic.
- Use a center instead. Registration centers can help when the website is down.
Most “PSER portal not working” problems are temporary traffic issues, not a problem with your account.
Stay safe when you log in
Your account holds your household data, so log in safely:
- Only use the official address, portal-pser.punjab.gov.pk. Check the address bar before typing your password.
- Never share your password or any reset code with anyone who contacts you, even if they claim to be staff.
- Logging in and checking your status are free. Never pay an agent.
Still stuck?
Call the government helpline at 0800-02345, or visit a nearby registration center with your CNIC. If you have not registered at all yet, you cannot log in; start with our PSER online registration guide first.
GoPunjab cannot reset your password or log in for you. We have no access to the portal. We only explain the steps so you can do it yourself.
