About Ufaq
Ufaq Asif is a Pakistani working woman with a long-standing interest in Punjab's government welfare programs. Like many people, she found the official information hard to follow. Benefits, eligibility rules, and deadlines were spread across different portals and written in confusing language, and it was rarely clear how much a household could actually gain from each scheme.
She built GoPunjab to fix that. Her goal is simple: take each program, including PSER, BISP 8171, the Kisan Card, the CM Laptop Scheme, and the Himmat Card, and explain it in clear, honest steps that an ordinary family can follow.
Ufaq checks every guide against official government sources before publishing, links to the official portal and helpline for each program, and updates a guide whenever the rules or dates change. GoPunjab is an independent information site and is not affiliated with any government body.
How she works
Ufaq checks every guide against official government sources before publishing. When a program changes, she updates the guide and notes the date. The goal is simple: give families accurate, honest information they can trust, in language that is easy to read.
